Refund policy

Returns

***Please, do not send your purchase back without first having contacted us about the return. Please email us about the return at info@wellreadcompany.com with your order number.***

We hope you will like your new items, but we understand that sometimes, we all may have a change of heart. To complete your return include the original packing slip and write the reason for return on there. 

Should you change your mind, you can return your item(s) to us, provided:

- Items are returned within 30 days of the delivery date. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you a refund/exchange after this period has elapsed.

- Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. This is very important as we won't be able to re-sell the item if it is not in its original packaging. As such, we won't be able to accept a return like this.

- Gift cards are exempt from being returned.

- To complete your return please obtain proof of postage, in case it is lost on its way back to us. We may not be able to process your return without it.

- Unfortunately, we are unable to pay postage for the returns.

- Only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) if the item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery, at our discretion.

- We are unable to cover the cost of reshipping the item back to the buyer after a return in these three instances:
a) the buyer originally gave us the wrong address
b) the buyer has failed to pick up the item from the post office within the allotted time frame
c) the buyer has missed repeated attempts by the carrier to deliver the item to their address.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your bank depends on your bank.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@wellreadcompany.com.

Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded (unless faulty/damaged).

Exchanges
We accept exchanges if requested within 14 days of placing an order. Exchange requests beyond this timeline may be accommodated but at our discretion. If you need to exchange an item send us an email at info@wellreadcompany.com.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying postage costs when returning an item. Postage costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original postage to you will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

You should consider using a trackable postage service. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We recommend Royal Mail Signed For™ 2nd Class as it offers you insurance for the value of the items and is fully trackable. For overseas customers, we recommend using a fully tracked courier service for any orders over £45.
